Rising Tide Brewing Company is proud to announce Mockingfish is a DRAFT Magazine Top 25 Beers of the Year pick for 2015.<\/p>\n

Described as \u201ctruly gorgeous\u201d and \u201cunlike other tequila barrel-aged beers,\u201d DRAFT says Mockingfish hits \u201ca trio of 2015\u2019s top beer trends\u201d as easy drinking and barrel aged, plus a terrific variation on this year\u2019s trending style, the salty and tart German gose.<\/p>\n

The beer\u2019s not the only gorgeous thing about this bottle: Mockingfish’s label features an original watercolor by local Maine artist Tessa Green O\u2019Brien. See photo attached.<\/p>\n

While Mockingfish was a limited single barrel release in August 2015, head brewer and owner Nathan Sanborn promises its return, \u201cWe\u2019re expecting the arrival of new tequila barrels, to be filled in December.\u201d He says aging the beer will take up to 3 months. In the meantime, enjoy the un-aged version of Rising Tide gose in cans available by mid-November. What\u2019s the best way for fans to hear about brewery-only releases like Mockingfish?
