We are really excited that the 7th Annual Portsmouth Beer Week is only a week a away. Portsmouth Beer Week is a 10 day celebration of beer, cider and local spirits, throughout the Portsmouth New Hampshire community.<\/p>\n

2015 NH Brewery Freshman Orientation Beer Sampling, featuring the new NH breweries opened in 2015<\/strong>. Saturday, February 20th.<\/p>\n

Beer Week kicks-off on Saturday February 20th with the 1st Annual NH Brewery Freshman Orientation Beer Tasting event. Inspired by Portland (Maine) Beer Week, Freshman Orientation is a great opportunity to meet the new New Hampshire breweries that opened in 2015. Similar to speed dating, but with beer, Freshman Orientation is a great change to meet the new breweries and sample their beer. We hope to see you there! \u00a0TICKET LINK<\/a><\/p>\n

Fourth Annual IPA Night at\u00a0the Blue Mermaid.<\/strong>\u00a0Tuesday, February 23rd. \u00a0Starting at 6:00 PM.<\/p>\n

IT’sssssss Back! \u00a0NEW lcoation, but the same deal — IPA night at the Blue Mermaid. \u00a0IPA’s are the hottest style and this has been one of the most popular nights of Portsmouth Beer Week.<\/p>\n

1st Annual Pond Hockey Invitational at\u00a0Strawbery Bank.<\/strong>\u00a0Wednesday, February 24th. \u00a0Brewery social starting @ 5:00 PM.
\nAmazingly, there are 1.5 breweries opening daily around the country. The number of breweries opening has not slowed down in recent years and New Hampshire was no different \u2014 with over 10 breweries opening in 2015. Have you had a chance to meet them? If not, here is your chance. Freshman Orientation is similar to speed dating with breweries. This event will give you a chance to meet and sample beers from the 2015 brewing class for New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

Brew Hampshire Movie Screening\u00a0at 3S Artspace.<\/strong> Thursday, February 25th. \u00a0Starting at 6:00 PM.
\nFor the 7th year in a row, we will be featuring a \u201cbeer inspiration\u201d movie. This year, we have selected \u201cBrew Hampshire\u201d produced by Meagan Frappiea & Bryant Naro.<\/p>\n

Brew Hampshire is a feature length documentary about the craft brew culture in New Hampshire, and sets out to discover how New Hampshire\u2019s \u201cLive Free or Die\u201d attitude attracts brewers with an entrepreneurial and artistic spirit. \u00a0TICKET LINK<\/a><\/p>\n
