<\/p>\nBeer has the ability to impact us in ways we may take for granted.\u00c2\u00a0 Over the past few years as the wife of a beer guy and an avid traveler, I have experienced many moments that have been made better through our love of beer.\u00c2\u00a0 Sean and I often reflect on the mark beer has left on our lives.<\/p>\n
In the US, many of us have grown up thinking beer is a “cheaper” way partake in some tasty beverages.\u00c2\u00a0 When we are younger some guys “learn” to like beer even if they don’t like the taste of it.\u00c2\u00a0 It is a right of passage of sorts. Alot of women don’t even give beer a chance or drink “lite” versions of it.\u00c2\u00a0 We are hopeful that through continuing 2beerguy adventures and of course, more travel and beer drinking, beer skeptics will give it a second chance.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe even a first chance. Hopefully the “lite” drinkers will try something new.<\/p>\n

Trying a variety of beer has opened up a\u00c2\u00a0 new world to Sean and I, our families and friends.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 As a result of traveling to Europe and the 2beerguys tastings, we have learned to enjoy a couple good beers instead of several not so good ones.\u00c2\u00a0 Beer has been the centerpiece of many nights of hanging out with friends while enjoying each others opinions on the beers.<\/p>\n
We have made several new friends over a good pint.\u00c2\u00a0 We met a father, son and daughter from Germany vacationing in Scotland.\u00c2\u00a0 They bought us a round of beers and we shared some great conversation.\u00c2\u00a0 In Belgium we closed down our friend Ignace’s bar at 3am after several Belgian beers surrounded by locals wowing us with their hospitality and their impressive food and drink.\u00c2\u00a0 In Portsmouth NH on our way home from a “Great” night, we met a British soldier here after going to Iraq twice.\u00c2\u00a0 He shared his experiences and welcomed us back to his hotel for a beer.\u00c2\u00a0 We respectfully declined as we had to work the next day.\u00c2\u00a0 He proceeded to insist and even offered to pay for a room for us so we didn’t have to drive…we will never forget Noel….Through the generosity of these beer lovers we have had more than a few good pints.\u00c2\u00a0 We have received the gift of\u00c2\u00a0 these peoples spirit.<\/p>\n
From the AB brewery in New Hampshire to the Delirium brewery in Belgium, we have shared local customs and of course beers with people from many places around the world.\u00c2\u00a0 These people and beers have cultivated exceptional moments in our lives and continue to inspire us to to travel and enjoy new beers.<\/p>\n
The nature of beer is to bring people together.<\/p>\n
