{"id":1790,"date":"2009-09-20T21:53:07","date_gmt":"2009-09-21T01:53:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.2beerguys.com\/blog\/?p=1790"},"modified":"2009-09-20T21:53:07","modified_gmt":"2009-09-21T01:53:07","slug":"tap-fest2009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/2beerguys.com\/blog\/2009\/09\/20\/tap-fest2009\/","title":{"rendered":"Event Recap: Haverhill Tap Fall Festival 2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Haverhill Tap Festival Starts the Fall off with a Bang:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Haverhill, Ma -\u00c2\u00a0 On a warm September Saturday, the Haverhill Brewery welcomed over 500 beer lovers over two separate sessions at the 4th Annual Haverhill Brewery Riverfront brewfest.\u00c2\u00a0 The weather was great and the day was packed with live entertainment, tasty food and good friends.<\/p>\n<p>Two different sessions were hosted between 12:30 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 4 p.m. and 5:30 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 9 p.m.  This year&#8217;s festival featured over over 20 different microbreweries from the area.  Many new breweries attended the event for the first time.  Here a partial list of those who attended:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Berkshire Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Boston Beer Company (aka Sam Adams)<\/li>\n<li> Boston Beer Works<\/li>\n<li> Cambridge Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Cape Ann Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Gardner Ale House (cask)<\/li>\n<li> Harpoon Brewery<\/li>\n<li> Honest Town (cask)<\/li>\n<li> John Harvard&#8217;s Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> MagicHat Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Martha&#8217;s Exchange<\/li>\n<li> Mercury Brewing Company (aka Ipswich and Stone Cat)<\/li>\n<li> Milly&#8217;s Tavern<\/li>\n<li> Pennichuck Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Shipyard Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Smuttynose Brewing Company<\/li>\n<li> Woodchuck Cider<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And of course, the Haverhill Brewery.<\/p>\n<p>The Cask cellar included a sneak preview of the 2009 Joshua Norton Imperial Stout.
