To view the menu and to purchase tickets, <\/a><\/p>\n Beer Dinner #2:<\/strong> ***************************************************** Amesbury, MA – The Amesbury Sports Park will be hosting the 3rd Annual Brew Fest on Saturday, September 26, from 2:00 to 10:30 p.m. at its facility at 12 South Hunt Road.<\/p>\n The Brew Fest, sponsored by WXGR and Budweiser, will feature up to 100 beers (just $10 for 10 samples), barbecue, OGO and summer tubing rides, and music by Flush, Michael Bernier & The Uprising, Soul Robot, and 4 Pints on an outdoor stage.<\/p>\n We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re thrilled to be hosting some of the best local bands this year,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said Mary Carol Fowler, Executive Vice President at the Amesbury Sports Park, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153and we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re excited to introduce summer tubing and the OGO to a larger audience.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d The OGO (Outdoor Gravity Orb) is an 11 foot inflatable transparent sphere with another inflated sphere suspended inside it. Riders enter the orb and strap themselves into a harness, or enter the H2OGO with up to 3 people and 5 gallons of water and are pushed over the edge of a hill and tumble 800 feet down the grassy slope. OGO rides and summer tubing rides will be operating from 2 pm to 5 pm.<\/p>\n Admission for the event is $10 per person. Tickets are available online at www.amesburysportspark.net and at the Amesbury Sports Park, 12 South Hunt Road, Amesbury MA (978) 388-5788.<\/p>\n *****************************************************<\/p>\n Somerville Harvest Fest – OCT 3rd<\/strong><\/p>\n downTown and Somerville Local First are pleased to present Harvest Fest: a celebration of drinking, eating and living local. Held from 1-8 on October 3rd at the Somerville Armory, Harvest Fest will feature local breweries, restaurants, artists and bands.<\/p>\n To eat and drink, we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll ask you to buy a wristband for $12. With the wristband, you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be able to sample delicious foods from SLF member restaurants like Redbones and Eat @ Jumbo\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s, and drink killer beers from local breweries like Mayflower, Long Trail, and Blue Hills, among others.<\/p>\n The breweries will also be offering info sessions on craft brewing that you can attend at the event. These special tasting seminars will allow you to sample awesome brews and learn about how they came about.<\/p>\n 10\/3\/09 1-8 PM
