{"id":20,"date":"2006-03-02T15:48:00","date_gmt":"2006-03-02T15:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.2beerguys.com\/wordpress\/?p=20"},"modified":"2008-03-15T23:04:15","modified_gmt":"2008-03-16T04:04:15","slug":"are-these-guys-real-reviewers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/2beerguys.com\/blog\/2006\/03\/02\/are-these-guys-real-reviewers\/","title":{"rendered":"Are these guys real reviewers?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Many may ask the question,<\/strong> <strong>Are these guys real reviewers or are they just finding a reason to drink?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Response:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any reason to have a tasty beer is a good reason, but we do take our beer reviewing seriously.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This makes me wonder, how would anyone review a beer without testing it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like reviewing a car by taking a picture of it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;&#8216;This car has four wheels, lights on every side and through the window we can see a steering wheel.&#8221; Who would want to read that?<\/p>\n<p>You can&#8217;t review a beer just by looking at it. You have to:<\/p>\n<p>* Kick the tires<br \/>\n* Open the hood<br \/>\n* Check the frame (what ever that means)<br \/>\n* Check the tire tread<br \/>\n* Look for faulty manufacturing<\/p>\n<p>We understand that everything looks good if you look at it from far enough away.
