2nd Annual “BEST WINGS IN BROOKLYN” Competition to be held Saturday FEBRUARY 12th at Greenpoint’s RED STAR<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s that time of year again, as RED STAR proudly hosts the 2nd ANNUAL BEST WINGS IN BROOKLYN COMPETITION<\/p>\n Saturday FEBRUARY 12th<\/strong> will crown heights\u2019 \u201cSUPER WINGS\u201d be able to defend their title? maybe greenpoint\u2019s \u201cRED STAR\u201d gains the upper hand this time around? What about perennial favorites like park slope\u2019s \u201cBONNIE\u2019S GRILL,\u201d or williamsburg\u2019s \u201cBUFFALO CANTINA\u201d? can they draw the crowds and help sway the vote in their favor? And how about \u201cKETTLE BLACK\u201d and \u201cYELLOW HOOK GRILLE\u201d making the trek all the way north from bay ridge to \u201cTHROW THEIR WING IN THE RING\u201d with the best of them! they\u2019ll certainly be ready!<\/p>\n Needless to say, make sure you save the date, people, as last year\u2019s event had lines out the door all afternoon, with nearly 700 participants. not only that, we\u2019ll have a variety of local brews on hand to help you wash down your wings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Once again, it\u2019s free wings all day, from 2:00 pm <\/strong>onward, and this year\u2019s event will also serve as a fundraiser<\/strong> for the terrific folks at the FOOD BANK FOR NYC<\/strong>.
