Do like winning free stuff? Do you hate waiting in lines? If you\u2019ve answered \u201cyes\u201d to any of these questions, then sharpen your pencils, stretch your typing fingers, and fill your inkwells because we\u2019re having a literary contest! The contest is simple: Write and submit a piece of creative writing for one of the three categories below. That\u2019s it. That\u2019s all you have to do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rules:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Poetry: <\/strong>Short forms only! Think haiku, sonnet, limerick, cinquain or free verse. Limit 20 lines<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Essay:<\/strong> Please keep your submission between 500 and 2500 words<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Short Fiction:<\/strong> Please keep your entries between 500 and 2500 words<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Winners will be notified via email and will have from March 7, 2011-March 7, 2012 to claim their prizes. All prizes must be collected in person at the Portsmouth Brewery.
