{"id":4555,"date":"2011-04-02T10:37:58","date_gmt":"2011-04-02T16:37:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/2beerguys.com\/blog\/?p=4555"},"modified":"2011-04-02T10:37:58","modified_gmt":"2011-04-02T16:37:58","slug":"nerax2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/2beerguys.com\/blog\/2011\/04\/02\/nerax2011\/","title":{"rendered":"Today is your last chance to get your cask on at NERAX 2011 4\/2 (MA)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">@Nerax, #realale,<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.2beerguys.com\/images\/forblog\/nerax_logo.jpg\" alt=\"Nerax logo\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>New England Real Ale eXhibition<\/strong>, NERAX, started on Wednesday March 30 and ends today at Saturday April 2, at the VFW George Dilboy post  in Davis Square, Somerville MA.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">HAPPY 15th Birthday NERAX!!<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a summary of this weeks activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wednesday:<\/strong> Doors opened at 6:00 p.m. sharp for the opening night of NERAX 2011.\u00a0 On for the night were 14 American beers and 17 British beers along with all three ciders.\u00a0 The Windsor &amp; Eton Conqueror Black IPA was the first beer to kick, at the very end of the evening.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thursday:<\/strong> Adding 11 new beers, brought the total to 43 firkins: 21 American beers, 19 British, and the 3 ciders. By the end of the night, you had kicked 13.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday<\/strong>:\u00a0 Adding 16 new beers, brought the total to 46 firkins: th 18 British beers, 25 American, and 3 ciders. The Reaper was busy, sweeping over 20 great beers off the boards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturday:<\/strong> The remaining beers in the wings will hit the stage. CASC is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to boosting awareness of and demand for Real Ale in<a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.nerax.org\/home\/cask-in-new-england.html');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.nerax.org\/home\/cask-in-new-england.html\">New England<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The New England Real Ale Exhibition, is held each spring at the\u00a0<a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.nerax.org\/nerax\/directions.html');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.nerax.org\/nerax\/directions.html\">George Dilboy VFW Post<\/a>, Davis Square, Somerville, MA.<\/p>\n<p>NERAX 2011 will be our 15th Festival. In 2011, we expect to offer more than 90 firkins of Real Ale, comprised of over 50\u00a0<a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.nerax.org\/nerax\/uk-beers.html');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.nerax.org\/nerax\/uk-beers.html\">British<\/a>beers from England, Scotland, and Wales; and about 40<a onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('\/outgoing\/www.nerax.org\/nerax\/us-beers.html');\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.nerax.org\/nerax\/us-beers.html\">American <\/a>beers, mostly from New England.
