Boulder, Colo. (June 2011) –<\/strong> A new local company is sure to turn heads in downtown Fort Collins this summer.\u00a0MyHandleBar<\/a> is partnering with\u00a0The Fort Collins Brewery<\/a> to launch the giant party bike on June 17.<\/p>\n MyHandleBar is a 16-passenger party bike complete with a designated driver used to cruise around the\u00a0bars and breweries of Fort Collins<\/a>. Colorado native and serial entrepreneur Theresa Preston founded MyHandleBar earlier this year with operations in Fort Collins and Boulder. The bike, which originated in the Netherlands, combines exercise with tasting some of Colorado\u2019s best food and drinks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/event.php?eid=153941141341300<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI originally saw this concept in a magazine and thought it was amazing,<\/em>\u201d said Preston. \u201cGiven the physically conscience nature and love of craft beer that Coloradoans have, I was certain that this would be appealing to a lot of people. Since I am local, my focus is on local partnerships, local bars and local beer like The Fort Collins Brewery.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n —————————<\/p>\n Known locally as the Brew-Muda Triangle, the Ft. Collins Brew-Muda Experience offers a tour of some of the nation\u2019s best craft breweries including New Belgium Brewing, Ft. Collins Brewery and O\u2019Dells Brewery\u2026with a few local bars\u2019 small craft beers thrown in along the way.<\/p>\n Stops Can Include: MyHandleBar is a giant 16-passenger bar-bike with several pedaling seats and is an awesome eco-friendly way to cruise around Boulder and Fort Collins with friends or crawl from pub to pub sampling local brews and site seeing. This giant bike is an awesome, eco-friendly option for birthday parties, bachelor\/bachelorette parties, brewery tours, company parties and just nights on the town.<\/div>\nThe company officially launches tours beginning July 1, but a kick-off party will be held on June 17 from 4 – 8p.m. at The Fort Collins Brewery,\u00a01020 E.
