\n New Mexico the latest state to receive Twisted Pine ales<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
Boulder, Colorado<\/strong> \u2013 In recent years, residents of New Mexico have been refining their palates with an ever-increasing selection of craft beers. Greater demand for quality beer has helped to bolster the state\u2019s own craft industry, as well as to open the door for distribution of product from other states. In August of 2011, New Mexicans will be treated to yet another option from their neighbors to the North. Twisted Pine Brewing Company out of Boulder, Colorado is excited to begin distributing their award-winning ales in the land of enchantment.<\/p>\n \u201cThe cultures in New Mexico and Colorado share so much. We\u2019re very eager to extend our efforts to customers who will truly appreciate and enjoy them,\u201d declares Jody Valenta, General Manager of Twisted Pine.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n A little over a year and a half ago, few people outside the state of Colorado knew of Twisted Pine Brewing Company and the high-quality, hand-crafted beers produced there. Since that time, Twisted Pine has plunged into the national craft beer picture, creating quite the ripple. New Mexico marks the seventh state in which the Twisted ales can now be found. Distribution of Twisted Pine products will be handled by L&F Distributors based out of Roswell. Beer-loving New Mexicans should start noticing at least a half-dozen varieties on the shelves between the middle and end of August.<\/p>\n Calle McCann, Sales Representative for the brewery and a former New Mexico resident herself, is especially enthusiastic about how one particular Twisted Pine offering will be received. \u201cOur Billy\u2019s Chilies will definitely find a lot of fans there,\u201d predicts McCann.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n A wheat ale infused with 5 different types of peppers, Billy\u2019s Chilies certainly appears to be the perfect fit in a state that is world-renowned for its cultivation of green chile, one of the ingredients used to flavor the unique ale.
