\nIt’s a Monday, but don’t let a busy weekend get you down — no time to rest now.\u00a0 Tonight, there is a two pack of great events.<\/p>\n

First, Idle Hands Craft Ales Debut. 6:00 – 8:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

Idle Hands Craft Ales<\/strong> will be debut<\/strong>ing their beers for the first time at Atwood Tavern.\u00a0\u00a0 Founded in 2010, Idle Hands Craft Ales is one of the newest craft breweries, operating out of Everett, MA.\u00a0\u00a0 Starting out as a nano brewery, Idle Hands is splashing into the craft world, bringing us a mix of beers, with a “nod towards a belgian style mix with new world ideas”.<\/p>\n

Chris and Grace invite you to join in their celebration from 6:00 – 8:00 PM<\/strong> at Atwood Tavern<\/strong>, 877 Cambridge Street, Cambridge, MA.\u00a0 Be among the first to try Pandora<\/strong> and Patriarch<\/strong>, along with a selection of other beers.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0 Although you may not have tried Pandora or Patriarch, you may have heard of Idle Hands Craft Ales.\u00a0 In August, the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission (ABCC) turned down Idle Hands request for a farmer-brewery license.\u00a0 This “decision” raised quite a social medial stir in MA with other local breweries (and craft beer fanatics), as there were approx 25 breweries who had a farmer-brewery license.\u00a0 Under this license, breweries were able to self distribute and provide tastings within their brewery, along with other exceptions — which a full production license did not fully allow.\u00a0 Treasurer Steve Grossman and his team, worked with the MA Brewers Guild to review the situation.\u00a0 The outcome of the discussion was a plan to modify some of the\u00a0 post-prohibition laws — eventually Idle Hands Craft Ales were issued their license.<\/p>\n
