From <strong>2 pm\u2013 6 pm<\/strong>, attendees at the Indian Ranch Summer Brewfest will have the opportunity to sample some of the finest local, regional, national and international micro-brews, craft beers and malt beverages.<\/p>\n<p>While brands like Harpoon, Sam Adams, Shocktop and Red Hook are staples to the Brewfest, the event has become well-known as\u00a0the\u00a0place to discover local and regional craft beers.\u00a0\u00a0 Massachusetts breweries are well represented at this year\u2019s festival; Worcester\u2019s own <strong>Wormtown Brewery<\/strong> will be joined by <strong>Wachusett Brewing Company<\/strong>, <strong>Watch City Brewing Company<\/strong>, <strong>Blue Hills Brewery<\/strong>, <strong>Berkshire Brewing,<\/strong> <strong>50 Back American Lager<\/strong> and <strong>Paper City Brewery<\/strong> as well as festival newcomers the <strong>Somerville Brewing Company<\/strong> (makers of Slumbrew) and <strong>Notch Session<\/strong> Beers out of <strong>Ipswich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Making their mark as the first craft brewery in New England to can its entire line of beers, <strong>Maine\u2019s Baxter Brewing Co<\/strong> will make their Indian Ranch Summer Brewfest debut this year. They will be joined by\u00a0and <strong>Peak Organic<\/strong> and <strong>Geary Brewing<\/strong> from Maine as well as <strong>Magic Hat<\/strong> and <strong>Long Trail Brewery<\/strong> from Vermont, and <strong>Woodstock Inn<\/strong> from New Hampshire.<\/p>\n<p>The beer doesn\u2019t stop there\u2013 breweries from around the country taking part in Brewfest include <strong>Wild Blue Lager<\/strong> and <strong>Ithaca Beer Company<\/strong> from New York state, <strong>Leine&#8217;s Lemon Berry<\/strong> from Chippewa Falls, WI and <strong>Boulevard Brewing<\/strong> from Kansas City, Missouri;\u00a0 <strong>Widmer Brothers<\/strong> from Oregon, and <strong>Kona Brewing Company<\/strong> from Hawaii. International brands include <strong>Hoegaarden<\/strong> and <strong>Leffe<\/strong> from Belgium; <strong>Worthington\u2019s<\/strong> from the UK; and <strong>Beck\u2019s<\/strong> from Germany. Malt beverages like <strong>Woodchuck Cider<\/strong>, will also be available at Brewfest. Additional breweries are expected to take part in the Summer Brewfest.<\/p>\n<p>The afternoon affair will also feature performances from <strong>Worcester\u2019s Chyldz Play<\/strong> and the beachfront will be alive with beach volleyball and other games and activities. And what is a beer festival without food?
