In my opinion, Hoppy Holidaze pairs particularly well with sugar cookies, aged Gouda, roasted sweet potatoes, lighter meats, and, naturally, carrot cake.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n About The Beer Wench:<\/strong><\/p>\n Ashley Routson, known amongst the craft beer community as The Beer Wench, is a self-proclaimed craft beer evangelist and social media maven on a mission to advance the craft beer industry through education, inspiration and advocacy. She is currently the \u201cDirector of Awesomeness\u201d at Bison Brewing in Berkeley, Calif., as well as the founding editor of DrinkWithTheWench.com<\/a>, BeerMixology.com<\/a> and IPADay.Org<\/a>. Ashley is also a regular contributor to CraftBeer.com<\/a> and the Whole Foods Market corporate blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n About Marin Brewing:<\/strong><\/p>\n In the late 1980\u2019s, Craig Tasley, a Marin County native with a background in restaurant management, teamed up with Brendan Moylan, an accountant turned brewer, with a specific goal in mind: provide the residents of Marin County with a brewpub offering the highest quality brews, a comfortable welcoming atmosphere, and delicious pub fare. With the help of their supportive families and a handful of eager investors, this dynamic pair was able to create their dream.<\/p>\n On April Fools Day, 1989, Craig and Brendan proudly opened the doors of Marin Brewing Company, offering Marin County its first taste of what would go on to be a globally award winning Microbrewery. \nOur traditional Christmas Ale, brewed with Pale, Wheat, Caramalt and Munich malts, and hopped with Sterling and Styrian Goldings varieties. Delicately spiced with canela, nutmeg, mace, orange peel and pure vanilla extract. 7.0% alcohol by volume.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nBrewed by one of my favorite local brewers, Arne Johnson, Hoppy Holidaze is a truly unqiue and extremely tasty holiday beer.
