{"id":8978,"date":"2013-11-14T09:07:46","date_gmt":"2013-11-14T14:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/2beerguys.com\/blog\/?p=8978"},"modified":"2013-11-14T09:10:17","modified_gmt":"2013-11-14T14:10:17","slug":"recap-of-2013-portland-beer-week-me","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/2beerguys.com\/blog\/2013\/11\/14\/recap-of-2013-portland-beer-week-me\/","title":{"rendered":"Recap of 2013 Portland Beer Week (ME)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Week, Amber and I went on a beerventure to Portland, Maine to celebrate the Second Annual Portland Beer Week.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Portland Beer Week is a series of events organized by industry participants to enhance beer knowledge and appreciation in the City of Portland and surrounding areas.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>We attend the following events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Peak&#8217;s Bar Hop Project\u00a0<\/strong>@LFKportland\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Details: Peak Organic Bar Hop Project at LFK is an event to showcase this year&#8217;s hop harvest\u00a0from our friendly hop farmers in Maine.\u00a0We will be pouring pints of Peak Organic&#8217;s Fall Summit and IPA and dry hopping your beer right at the bar, adding three or four hop cones right to your glass. \u00a0Come hang out with us and experience the delightful aroma a fresh dose of the mighty summit hop will add to your beer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domestic Belgian Night<\/strong> @TheThirstyPig &#8211; Details: \u00a0Belgian Beers from\u00a0Allagash, Pretty Things and Ommegang\u00a0on tap with Cabot farm co-op pairings<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tales from the Brewhouse<\/strong> @\u00a0Andy&#8217;s Old Port Tavern Details:\u00a0Presented by Baxter Brewing.
