People appreciate transparency and honesty, right? Well, the purpose of this blog post is to shamelessly promote our upcoming Newburyport Fall Beer Fest<\/a>. It is Saturday, November 8 from 1:00-4:00 at Nicholson Hall, 9 Harris Street, Newburyport, MA. $25; $30 day of event. Tickets can be found here<\/a>. Whew! With that out of the way, let me tell you a bit about why it is particularly special to me.<\/p>\n

It takes place at Nicholson Hall, a little unknown gem of a function hall adjacent to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Ryan and I had our wedding reception here, among other milestone events and celebrations. This place is the closest thing to inviting friends to our living room without actually doing so. So please, come to our event so we can show you some of the hospitality that our community has to offer. Enjoy some brews with old and new friends alike. Grab some grub and chat up the knowledgeable brewery reps about their offerings, or find Sean, Ian, or Ryan\u2014they love to talk people\u2019s ears off, especially about their favorite subject.<\/p>\n

Come enjoy great beer and community on a Saturday afternoon. The breweries represented are a collection of local favorites to the greater Newburyport area. Brewery folk we like hanging out with–check! Beer we like drinking\u2014check! Volunteers that work hard and like to have fun\u2014check! All that\u2019s left is for you to snag a ticket and join us!
