First of all I think the beer is great but more importantly they are great people who had the\u00a0<\/em>cojones to open up a brewery and self distribute. Next they bought a historic farm (which came with a beloved goat , Jericho) at auction in order to rehab in order to expand the brewery and afford them space to grow some of the ingredients used in the beer. I just want to see good people rewarded for their hard work.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\nNicole & Annette penned a poem as their entry into the contest and it’s included below:<\/p>\n
There once were two girls who loved beer,<\/strong><\/em>
\nSo they started a small brewery one year.<\/strong><\/em>
\nThey mashed and they boiled<\/strong><\/em>
\nThey cleaned and they toiled<\/strong><\/em>
\nbrewing beer that inspired people to cheer. (hear hear!)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nTheir brewery was a throwback<\/strong><\/em>
\nto times in the past<\/strong><\/em>
\nwhere ingredients were sourced locally<\/strong><\/em>
\nand community ties held fast.<\/strong><\/em>
\nThe girls’ small team did it all. Not just making the beer<\/strong><\/em>
\nbut the numbers, the sales, the ordering of gear.<\/strong><\/em>
\nThey filled bottles, and kegs, and even growlers, too.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nThen they’d fill up their cars and deliver the brew.<\/strong><\/em>
\nThe customer interactions they held dear<\/strong><\/em>
\nbut the transport they feared –\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>
\nthe old van with its whine\u2026the car that’s too small<\/strong><\/em>
\nthe truck that’s divine, but for short girls, too tall.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nThey needed something safe, with much better mileage<\/strong><\/em>
\nthat could fit all their beer and match their cool style-age.<\/strong><\/em>
\nThey needed dependable, durable, and even Ford tough.<\/strong><\/em>
\nAnd it needed to work when New Hampshire Winters were rough.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\nAnd then one day they saw the new 2015 Transit by Ford<\/strong><\/em>
\nAnd they looked at each other and their hearts just soared.<\/strong><\/em>
\nThis is the vehicle of their dreams, just what their business needs<\/strong><\/em>
\nA gift like this could make them truly succeed!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
