Review - Twisted Pine Brewery's Hoppy Boy
"Our newest beer in the lineup. This India Pale Ale is loaded with hops yet balanced with a malty sweetness. A fine beer from the first aroma sense to the finish!" -- Twisted Pine Brewery
Pours Cloudy yellow settling into a dark amber/reddish hue. With a large off white foamy head, the body is very hazy and active with floating particles. The long lasting head didn't stick to the glass. Overtime, the lacing got stronger. The nose was enticed by the moderately strong crisp citrus hops. With hints of oranges, this offering was very inviting and made my palate moist. The moderately bitter taste slowly settled into a light bitter taste on the palate for a long duration. Light to medium in the body with soft carbonation, this IPA was light oily on the palate. The best thing about this review is the fact that we have another to enjoy later!
