Middle Ages Swallow Wit

Review - Middle Ages Brewing Company's Swallow Wit

"A wheat beer brewed in the style of a Belgian wit bier while using British ingredients. Lite and refreshing spiced with coriander and orange peel." -- Middle Ages Brewing Company

Pours a moderately yellow color with an average-sized, fizzy white head that almost instantly fades away. Decent lacing, given the noted lack of carbonation leading to the quickly diminishing head. Aroma is of sweet bananas, with spicy undertones. Initial taste is full of carbonation, with a heavy sweet up front, dulled slightly by the carbonation, then slips a bit to a light medium sweet at the finish. Light to medium bodied, it has a fairly creamy texture with a soft mouthfeel.

Reviewer's notes: The aroma on this beer caused Sean to have a convulsion and knock his glass over.
