Red Seal Ale

Review - North Coast Brewing Company's Red Seal Ale

"Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copper-red Pale Ale. Red Seal Ale is generously hopped in the traditional manner for a long, spicy finish." -- North Coast Brewing Company

Pours a light, cloudy amber color, spinning into a clear, medium amber hue with a fizzy, off-white head. Mostly diminishing head with decent lacing. Aroma is of semi-sweet malts, with hints of faint caramel. Initial taste is light sweet, but quickly sweeps to a bitter finish with black tea-like qualities. Light-bodied, it has a slightly oily texture with soft carbonation.
