Double Barrel

Review - Firestone Double Barrel Ale

"Unparalleled in character and uniquely fermented in our patented Firestone Union oak barrel brewing system, our flagship Double Barrel Ale boasts a distinctive complexity and richness. English and Slovenian hops contribute a clean, balanced texture and a fragrant, spicy bouquet." -- Firestone Walker

Pours a medium, fizzy amber body with an off-white, fizzy head that continues to bubble and bubble. Aroma is sweet and soapy, providing notes of flowers. Initial taste is soapy, shifting to a moderately bitter finish with an average duration. Light-bodied, it has a dry texture that has us puckering up with soft carbonation.
