Pours a cloudy dark yellow, settling out to a dark orange hue with a nice, fizzy white head that leaves fair lacing behind. The alcohol is very well masked in the aroma, as we get hints of hops but nothing overwhelming. Grapefruit notes pervade. The initial taste gives a massive hit of hop bitterness, with a tremendous dry texture, settling to a balanced finish that leaves a clean taste. Light to medium bodied, it has a creamy texture that imparts a dry mouthfeel on us with gentle carbonation.
