Review - Angry Ogre Brewing Company's Labrea Tar Pit
No commercial description available
Pours into a completely black body topped by a short, light brown and white fleck head. Oily lacing, almost non-existent, behind a mostly diminishing head, dissipating the way marshmallows do in hot chocolate. Not overly aggressive on the nose, it has a marinade-like aroma, strong alcohol presence, dark bread notes but not very malty. First taste is moderately sweet, slowly transitioning to a light bitter finish for an average duration. Mouthfeel is oily alcohol with a creamy texture, soft carbonation, and is slightly sour.
