Review - Coastal Extreme Brewing Company's Newport Storm Frank

"A Belgian wit style. It comes in at 6.8% ABV and uses orangel peel, Kafir lime leaves, lemon peel and corriander to help the special Beligan yeast strain give this beer a citrusy and spicy flavor." -- Coastal Extreme Brewing Company

Pours a cloudy light brown to dark amber color with a moderate amount of carbonation, building a small fizzy white head that quickly diminishes. Having settled, the appearance is now medium yellow in color with almost no head and no lacing. For the aroma, we are getting some soapy notes as well as some cloves from the Belgian yeast, and perhaps a bit of lemon but without the acidity. Initially, the taste is mostly sweet with some hard candy-like notes and some sourness as well, and towards the finish, perhaps a bit of alcohol along with some more sticky sweetness. Light bodied, although it leaves behind a sticky oily finish on the mouth, it has a creamy texture with lively carbonation. A very drinkable Belgian Wit that doesn't mislead
