Review - Marthas Exchange's Belgian White
No commercial description
Growler courtesy of Thirsty Beard. Pours a thin, clear medium amber body with a very small off-white head that completely diminishes, settling into a dark orange color with active carbonation. The aroma is fairly subdued, with notes of apples and soft alcohol, and the usual suspects bananas and cloves. There is also a slight medicinal quality to it. Initial taste is moderately sweet, which gives way to a light bitter finish. Strong banana aftertaste, watery thin body, and some soft spice notes right at the end. Not spicy enough for the style, but it is a tasty beer.
