Review - Berkshire Brewing Company's Traditional Pale Ale
A Traditional Pale Ale with a deep cooper color, a caramel/malt flavor and a very rich hop aroma and flavor. -- Berkshire Brewing Company
The Traditional Pale Ale pours a cloudy brown hue settling into a dark amber body. With a small light brown fizzy head, the glass contained virturally no lacing after the head diminished quickly. The nose detected a sweet malt aroma with hints of caramel. The moderately initial taste was followed by a light sweet finish for a short duration. It was rather watery and light to medium in body with soft carbonation. We were very excited by the aroma, but were turned off by the finish. It wasn't bad, but it didn't leave us wanting more.
Comments during the review: "OH" - Ian, when the nose went to work.
"Yummeriffic" - Jen. "It's not doing anything for me" - Andy, after tasting
it. "It's flavorful, but I can't pinpoint the particular flavor" - Kat.
