Mojo

Review - Boulder Beer Company - Mojo IPA

"Mo-Jo: 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. Herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.
Pale in color but packed with flavor, MoJo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. The unique Amarillo hop adds a slight citrus flavor to an ultra-crisp dry finish." -- Boulder Beer Company

The Mojo is one of our favorites. It pours a light amber color with an average, frothy white head, with amazing lacing and a clear, sparkling body. Aroma is sweet, with hints of perfume hops and citrus. Initial flavor is sweet with a light bitter finish. Mouthfeel is dry and light, with lively carbonation. A chalky feel. With this as well, we will drink more.

Re-reviewed on 8/30/06: "4th in the Looking Glass series, great IPA for the lower % of alcohol beers, very hoppy, bitterness may turn away those afraid of hops but will be a touch of heaven for IPA fanatics"
