Review - Dogfish Head Brewery's Indian Brown Ale
"A cross between a Scotch Ale, an I.P.A., and an American Brown, this beer is well-hopped and malty at the same time. It is brewed with Aromatic barley and caramelized brown sugar." -- Dogfish Head Brewery
This brown ale pours a deep red color with an average, light brown fizzy head. Virtually no lacing behind a fully-diminishing head. Sparkling body. Aroma is of light, toasted malts and light hops. Initial taste is lightly sweet which carries right through to the finish with a malty, nutty taste. Light to medium on the mouth, a creamy consistency is left behind with soft carbonation.
