Review - Green Valley Brewing Co.'s Wild Hop Lager

"Wild Hop Lager is unique and distinctive. It is made one batch at a time. It does not use any genetically modified products, pesticides or commercial fertilizers. Wild Hop Lager is made from 100% organic barley malt, certified by the USDA and the organic organization Oregon tilth." -- Green Valley Brewing Co.

This lager pours a medium yellow color, settling a light amber color with a quickly diminishing, fizzy white head. The coloring is a lot darker than a typical lager. On the aroma, it is as expecting, with no particular aromas jumping out at us, with a light malt presence. Initial taste is slightly bitter which continues right through to the finish. Very active carbonation masks any defining taste. Watery on the mouth.
