Review - John Harvard's Brew House's Colonial Gold
No commercial description available.
Medium yellow, thin bodied, clear, with active carbonation. Small, fully diminishing white head with no lacing. Aroma is of faint, sweet malts. Initial taste is acidic with a faint bitter finish, although this is not a complimentary bitter. Light on the mouth, it has a watery texture and soft carbonation. The acidic taste provides a cider-like characteristic to the ale.
