Review - Left Hand Brewery's Warrior IPA
"Brewed only once a year with fresh hops hand-picked in Longmont, CO and Warrior hops straight off the vine from Yakima, WA.
Warrior is brewed using a unique style called “Wet Hopping,” which requires only hops that are no more than a day from the vine. “Wet Hopping” imparts only a mild aroma, but an exceptionally fresh unfiltered hop flavor." -- Left Hand Brewery
We were anticipating the review of this one, and we were not disappointed. The Warrior IPA pours a light amber color with a rich, creamy off-white head. Clear body. A light aroma of bread, hops with orange notes, as well as dough and peach. Initial flavor is of honey, coming in lightly sweet and finishing lightly bitter. Watery, flat feel on the mouth with a chalky residue. Excellent brew.
