Review - The Matt Brewing Company's Saranac Pale Ale

"A beer that would make the English jealous! This true English Pale Ale is rich and fruity, yet finishes crisp. You'll love the copper amber color and medium body." -- The Matt Brewing Company

At last, we've come across a beer in this pack that we can enjoy. It pours a cloudy brown color, but settles a light amber shade, topped off by an average, white fizzy head. Faint lacing with a clear body. The aroma is both malty and hoppy, with a nose of fruit. Initial taste is light bitter, with a moderately bitter finish with average duration. Hint of sweet. Light on the mouth, with moderate carbonation. Dry finish. Not bad but not a kickass beer.
