Review - The Matt Brewing Company's Saranac Mountain Ale

"This Delicious Fruity ale is brewed with blackberries, raspberries and sweetened with a touch of blueberry honey. Light and refreshing. With a reddish-Amber color, be sure to look for the ale bitter and berry sweetness. Enjoy!" -- The Matt Brewing Company

One of the best beers of the 12 Beers of Summer pack, the Mountain Ale pours a medium amber color with an off-white, fizzy head. Fair lacing behind a fully diminishing head. Clear body. Aroma is fruity. Initial taste is a medium sweet, with a light sweet finish, medium duration. Strong carbonation and light body define the palate.
