Review - Mercury Brewing's Endurance Pale Ale
"Our flagship ale is named in honor of Tom Crean, Second Officer of The Endurance -- an expedition to the South Pole in 1914 under the command of British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. " -- Mercury Brewing
This last of our pales for the evening pours an amber color with a small, white head. No lacing and a murky body. Aroma is of light bread malts and light citrus hops. Initial flavor is moderately sweet, moving to a light bitter finish with a long duration. Light to medium on the mouth, it has a dry texture with soft carbonation.
Reviewer's notes: "Smells snifferific, smells balanced, interesting taste, not a bad beer."
