Review - Offshore Brewing Company's IPA
"Light copper in color with a bold hop bitterness. The malt balances flawlessly with the fruity and floral aromas from the copious amount of fresh hops in this IPA.
Our brewer recommends his favorite dish, the Portuguese Fisherman’s Stew." -- Offshore Brewing
This is a tasty IPA and one of the two beers that Offshore bottles. Listed as 60 IBU's, this was only 9 IBU's fewer than the Hop Goddess. It pours a clear medium amber color with an off-white fizzy head. Mostly diminishing with good lacing. The nose detects sweet smelling citrus hops. It was very inviting and makes the taste buds water. Initially tasting light bitter and finishes with an increases moderately bitter taste for an average duration. With a light to medium body and soft carbonation, it was a little dry on the palate, but not too harsh. This is a very drinkable IPA.
