Review - Offshore Brewing Company's Steeprock Stout
"Our smooth and delicious Irish Style Dry Stout has a deep black color from an abundance of roasted barley and chocolate malts.
***Stout and Oysters are a Must Try!!!***" -- Offshore Brewing
The Steeprock Stout pours with a large, light-brown head and settles a dark brown/black color. Mostly diminishing creamy head with excellent lacing. Heavy malt aroma with hints of burnt malts, coffee and bread. The initial taste is light bitter with a light bitter finish for a long duration. It was quite surprising that it did not contain a harsh burnt malt taste. It definitely stayed around for a while, but it was pleasant on the palate with soft carbonation, light to medium body, and a little water texture. We were quite pleased with this stout.
