Review - Portsmouth Brewery's India Pale Ale
"An American style India Pale Ale" -- Portsmouth Brewery
Pours a hazy, medium amber color with a frothy, off-white head. Settles a dark amber color with a murky appearance. Lots of particles in the body. Solid lacing. Aroma carries a heavy dose of inviting, wet grass hops. Initial taste is lightly bitter, but quickly escalates to a heavy bitter with a smooth finish. Delicious, creamy finish. Medium bodied, it has a slighty dry texture with soft carbonation. Body particles are not very evident on the tongue.
