Review - Redhook Brewery's Blonde Ale
"The inspiration for Redhook Blonde Ale was a desire to meld the best attributes of a flavorful ale with the delicacy of a lager. Through the combination of lightly roasted barley, subtle hops, and a touch of wheat, our brewers have achieved a taste profile that will appeal to wide ranges of beer drinkers. Blonde Ale makes a great companion to Mexican food, Thai Cuisine, and anything savory or spicy." -- Redhook Brewery
The Redhook Blonde Ale pours a light golden color, forming a white, light head. It does not have a very powerful aroma, and the beer finishes light and crisp, leaving little residue on the glass. The Blonde Ale does not have a particularly heavy aftertaste.

This blonde pours a dark yellow color with a white, fizzy head. Fair lacing over a clear body. Light fruity aroma with wheat notes and a touch of yeast. Initially sweet and finishing bitter, it hangs around on our mouths just long enough to enjoy and require another sip. Chalky and dry on the mouth with soft carbonation. MB deems this ale "summer-worthy".
