Review - Redhook Brewery's Seasonal Winterhook
"Full bodied ale made with an array of specialty malts, elegant hopping and a pleasing deep ruby color."-- Redhook Brewery
The Redhook Winterhook pours a malty color with a clingy head that leaves a heavy residue on the glass. It has a sweet taste without being spicy like a lot of other winter brews tend to be. The beer itself is not a heavy beer, as it has a seemingly light volume. Not your typical winter beer.

The Winterhook pours a dark amber color with an off-white, fizzy head. Aromas are of mild coffee, caramel, light cookie malts, and a hint of cinammon. Initial taste is lightly sweet, with a light bitter finish. Creamy and full on the palate.
