Review - Trout River's Hoppin' Mad Trout
"Hoppin' Mad Trout is brewed as an India Pale Ale. It has a smooth, toasted malt flavor dominated by hops. A distinct flowery aroma and a clean, dry finish round out this ale.." -- Trout River Brewing
Active body, hazy light amber color, massive, fizzy white head. Fair lacing. Aroma is of cloves and bananas. Initial taste is moderately sweet, moving to a light sweet finish. Body is light with a watery texture, soft carbonation. We'll be swimming up river away from this one if it comes our way again.
