Review - Trout River's Rainbow Red Ale
"Hoppin' Mad Trout is brewed as an India Pale Ale. It has a smooth, toasted malt flavor dominated by hops. A distinct flowery aroma and a clean, dry finish round out this ale.." -- Trout River Brewing
Reddish-amber color, hazy, active body, frothy light brown head. Mostly lasting head, fair lacing. Light bread malts, banana, and alcohol. Initial taste is light sweet, moving to a light bitter finish with short duration. Body is light, with a chalky texture, and active carbonation. After the carbonation subsides, the taste disappears with it.
