Review - Rock Art Brewery's Extreme Magnumus et Tomahawkus ESB3 Ale

"This ain't for no Mama's boy or Daddy's girl. Magnumus et Tomahawkus ESB3 ALE! At least we think it is...." -- Rock Art Brewery

Pours a cloudy light amber and settles into a medium amber color. The large white creamy head accompanied the clear body. Mostly diminishing, with great lacing, the Rock Art emitted a moderatly hoppy presence. The nose also detected grain malts with hints of hay. The moderately bitter initial taste was followed by a light sweet taste for a long duration. Medium in body and with lively carbonation, the palate was left creamy with an alcohol finish. This leaves the palate all beaten up like a spirit would do. This unbalanced offering doesn't sneak up on you. It's large and in charge.
