Review - Middle Ages Brewing Company's ImPaled Ale
"A complex and artistically balanced multi-layered IPA (India Pale Ale) with an intense finish of cascade hops." -- Middle Ages Brewing Company
Blast of carbonation upon opening the bottle. Pours a medium caramel color with a frothy, off-white head. Fair, watery lacing above the mostly diminishing head. Aroma is of floral, grassy hops and alcohol. Initial taste is sharply bitter, which continues right through to the finish.
Reviewer's notes: Overly bitter with not enough malt character to balance, it's a fairly good IPA thats missing something to really round it out.
