Wallen's Wit

Review - A&W Brewery's Wallen's Wit and Our Good Looks

No commercial description available.

Pours a pale yellow color with a full two finger head thats full of froth and activity. Hazy, opaque body with a mashed banana quality to the hue. Despite the carbonation, it leaves relatively little lace on the glass as it dissipates down into a fizzy, mostly diminished head. Signature notes of cloves and bananas from the yeast and, with the addition of orange peel and coriander, the spice notes are accented in the straw-like presence. First taste is loaded up front with carbonation which carries the moderately bitter notes across the tongue, and as it moves to the back, a faint sweetness kicks in that leaves a very pleasant mouthfeel. Light in body, it has a watery texture with a slightly dry finish with a smooth, refreshing taste.
