Oktoberfest

Review - Berkshire Brewing Company's Oktoberfest Lager

"This lager is brewed using true German hops and yeast. The orange-amber hue is reminiscent of the coming fall foliage. Berkshire Brewing Company Inc. "fest" is malty, smooth, and finishes with hints of spice and a subtle hop flavor." -- Berkshire Brewing Company

Pours a nice copper color with a very fizzy, light brown head, and a fairly still body that holds up the head fairly well. The nose picks up nice hints of subtle caramel malts but its not overly sweet, we also get some alcohol, and Ryan got his balls pinched. The initial taste is fairly sweet with a slight burning alcohol tinge, rounding out to a soft sweet finish with light carbonation. It's light to medium bodied with a nice creamy texture that rolls into a dry mouthfeel.
