Review - Pizza Port Brewing Company's High Tide Fresh Hop IPA
"Our version of a seasonal IPA brewed and dry hopped with freshly harvested Centennial and Chinook flower hops." -- Pizza Port Brewing Company
Pours a light yellow color that darkens a bit as it settles, with a nice white fizzy head with a good two fingers worth of retention. Decent lacing that splits apart as it sits on the glass. Clear golden color with a slight bit of carbonation. Aroma is of faint citrus with a bit of lemon and some wet grass, as well as a some soap. Initial taste is overtly bitter with a bit of soapiness, staying moderately bitter through the finish. Light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and fairly active carbonation, with a slightly dry mouthfeel.
