Opa Opa

Review - Opa Opa Brewing Company's IPA

"This beer is brewed for those who appreciate the pure pleasure of the Hop. The malt comes through, but its not long before the hops take over! Aromatic, bitter and a bit strong, this beer graduated from the more is better school. "

Pours a cloudy medium yellow color that quickly turns to a dark yellow to light amber hue with a decent fizzy white head with fairly sticky lacing. Crystal clear body. Aroma is filled with beautiful cascade hops that invade the nostrils with an inviting drink me attitude. Delicious first taste with a light sweetness that gets quickly smacked out of the way by an almost harsh hop explosion that leaves our mouths happy. Strong citrus on the back end with some grapefruit. Medium bodied, it has a creamy texture that leaves a really nice coating behind, and a bit of a dry, lip-smacking mouthfeel. This is not a balanced beer, but highly recommended for hop lovers..
