Review - Hoppin Frog Brewery's BORIS The Crusher

Pours like motor oil from the bottle with an average sized medium brown head that fully diminishes, leaving an appearance similar to flat cola. The aroma is of subtle burnt malts, there is a slightly sour scent from the bottle, and some oatmeal flour. Initial taste has some sublte bitter coffee flavor, and towards the finish builds a strong bitterness with almost an espress-like characteristic. Mouthfeel is oily with medium body, there\s some burnt malt lingering on the finish with a soft alcohol tinge.
