Review - River Horse Hop Hazard Pale Ale
"Brewing the perfect ale is truly a balancing act ... Hazardous work you might say. With Hop Hazard our challenge was to hand craft a malt rich base that could counterbalance a combustible five-hop blend and still leave your taste buds with enough room to enjoy a unique, dry-hopped finish." -- River Horse Brewery
This Pale Ale pours a medium amber color with a flat clear body. Average, frothy white head with not a lot of staying power. Aroma is of toasted grains. Initial taste is of moderate sweetness, finishing a heavy bitter that lasts and lasts on the palate. The finish on the palate is light and dry.
