Review - Rock Bottom Brewery - San Diego's Orange Blossom
In search for the Stone Brewery, after gallivanting through the amazing Petco Park (home of the San Diego Padres), we stumbled upon the Rock Bottom Brewery. We were quite pleased with the location and atmosphere; but as you will see in the 8 reviews, the beer could not stand up to a bud light.
The appearance was quite impressive. Great lacing and amazing off while head that was fully diminishing. Medium in and clear in body, the appearance didn't moisten our palate. We didn't detect much in the nose department, but there were hints of bread malts present. The moderately bitter taste evolved into a light bitter finish for a short duration. Light watery body with soft carbonation. “Ulh...” made some weird face --- Amber. “Tastes light a light beer – couldn't taste any orange”.
At the end of the 8 beer sampler, there wasn't a single beer that Sean wanted to drink a pint of. It was quite depressing
